Luke's Personality
Luke has the typical Golden Retriever demeanor. He enjoys getting snuggles from adults and children, and is the favorite neighborhood dog that everyone stops by to get a little love from. He literally at times has people waiting in line to snuggle with him at our fence.
Health
Our Veterinarian is impressed with Luke’s mobility, intelligence, weight and personality. He is registered at AKC with a Certified Pedigree that shows his lineage (available upon request). DNA Test verifies that he is 100% Golden Retriever. Per OFA, his blood line is clear of any heart, hip, eye, or elbow disease so that you will be sure that when you choose to mate your Dam with Luke they will produce healthy beautiful Golden Retriever puppies.
He has had a high success rate when mating, with beautiful healthy puppy litters.
Important Details
To get started, please email us a request for Luke’s AKC documents. We also ask that you send yours as well so that we can make sure that there is no conflict for them to breed.
As far as getting them together, our schedule is very flexible because we work from home (Castle Pines, Colorado). We have a fenced in backyard for plenty of room for them to mate and be safe. Based on our experience we find that it is best for them to mate for three days In a row to have a good sized litter. Of course, this is your choice if you wish to do less.
We also have a facility we can use to collect Luke’s sperm for artificial insemination. Last time it was done, the facility did a check on the collection and found that he had a sperm count of over 800 million which is way above average.
